Haeyousihwachub
The Haeyousihwachub is a travel painting album painted in 1842 by teacher Gyunam. Kyunam teacher was exiled to Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do in 1842. While she was staying in exile, on April 15, 1842, she cruised the sea off Boryeong with five scholars from Boryeong, drew poems and pictures about the trip, and made six copies to share. The painting depicts Songho and Hwanghaknu Yeongbojeong as map-style real landscape landscape in three widths. It shows that the travel literature and travel scenes of Joseon writers, which continued under the tradition of Confucianism since the 17th century, spread to local writers in the early 19th century.
